Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus - PSone Gameplay [PlayStation 4 Re-Release]
1First released in 1998 to critical acclaim, Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus picks up where Abe's Oddysee left off (if you get the good ending, that is). Abe may have saved mudokons from RuptureFarms, but his celebration was cut short when he was accidentally knocked unconcious and had the vision from the ghostly spirits known as The Three Weirdos (yes, that's their actual name). Turns out that the greedy Glukkons are stealing the bones of the already deceased mudokon ancestors to make the highly addictive beverage called Soulstorm Brew. Now it's up to Abe to once again liberate the mudokon race and shut down the brewery once and for all. This time, there are 300 mudokons to save, more hazards, more enemies to deal with, mudokons now have emotions, the sligs get a bigger arsenal at their disposal and more. And explosive farts. That you can possess. Yep, really.
This PS4 (and therefore PS5) release was added as part of the PlayStation Classics line for PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers, but it can be purchased separately, as usual. This also features the rewind feature, video options and save states. And it looks like both NTSC and PAL options are available this time. But unfortunately, because this is a third party game, Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus has no trophy support and likely will not be added by Oddworld Inhabitants in the near future. (Which is the same thing with releases of PS1 and PSP games from Disney, Bandai Namco, Team17 and Capcom, it seems.)
