In 2011, Nike introduced what would be, and what arguably still is, the most high-tech leather football boots the World had ever seen, the Tiempo Legend 4 Elite. It was super light, incredible quality, somehow combined flyiwre and kangaroo leather, had a carbon fiber soleplate and was super expensive! Not to mention one of the best looking football boots of all-time, in my opinion at least. It changed everyone's perspective of what a leather football boot could be.
It's now 2020, and the Legend 4 Elite is back, as part of Nike's new Future DNA pack, which sees the current Tiempo legend 8 Elite, dressed up with a bunch of unique details to relate it back to the OG launch colorway in black, white and total orange! In today's video we take a closer look at these boots and compare the two Tiempo models that are now separated by 9 years. Have Nike improved the Tiempo, or just made it worse? Let's find out.
