One Piece Burning Blood spielt sich ähnlich wie die Grand Battle Reihe. Es ist ein 1 vs 1 Fighting Spiel, in dem der Spieler 3 Charaktere für den Kampf wählt. Zwischen diesen kann während des Kampfes hin und her gewechselt werden.

Es gibt 40 spielbare Charaktere, 65 Support Charaktere & 10 Stages.

Der Fokus des Spiels liegt beim kämpfen und dem nutzen der Teufelsfrüchte.
Auch ist es Ruffy möglich seine neue Technik Gear Fourth ein zu setzen.

Hierzulande erscheint Burning Blood am 03. Juni für die Playstation 4 / Xbox One / PS Vita und PC.
