I’m trying to find a job online where I don’t need to fill out surveys. I was wondering if there was any legitimate online jobs that aren’t scams.

First off I want to say good luck and here is how I started to make money online.

When I was 15 i was making some extra money online while playing my favorite game at the time which was Habbo Hotel. Habbo is basically like playing the Sims where you have your very own avatar and you’re able to spend real money on furniture to build your own room. There were game rooms, dating rooms, trading rooms… You name it there was a room for it.

You could get furniture by trading with other people or winning games that people hosted. Spending most of my time on it after school for the last few years I’d worked out how the fastest way to increase the amount of furniture I was making from other players. It was by having a casino that people could play blackjack in. People would come in bet their furniture on and try and beat you in blackjack. Now if you know anything about casinos it’s that the house always wins and I did win, a lot.

Well eventually habbo added in coins and gold bars which could be traded for the in game currency, suddenly the market had changed and everyone now wanted these items so they could buy whatever they wanted. Just think of them as gold coins in Runescape. It’s used to buy whatever you want.

I checked online and found a website where people buying and selling these gold bars which was $5 to buy for as low as 60 cents. There was one huge problem though, PayPal disputes and scamming was happening all over the place. When a new person came to the community no-one wanted to sell to them because they were afraid of them stealing the gold bars and charging a PayPal dispute. This made a huge demand for these gold bars but hardly any where being sold even though people had the stock.

I decided that even though these people where new I’d sell them a maximum of 2 gold bars every 2 days for double the price and slowly increase it to see how much people would actually pay. So here I was with heaps of people ordering these virtual items that I had stocked up from my casino for about $1.50 each. Selling 20 a night meant an extra real $30 for me which was heaps of money when you’re 15.

People started to catch on and started to try and copy me after a while but I had such a good reputation that others didn’t get as much business as I did. I slowly kept rising the price up to see how high the market would go. Before I stopped playing I had raised the price to $2.50 with the ability to buy from others for as low as $1.10.

Habbo very slowly realized what was happening and that a lot of problems that where occurring such as scamming and hacking was because people where trying to get more items to bet but didn’t want to pay for them. So after many years Habbo banned and removed casinos and betting from the game.

So as you can see in my case you’re probably going to need to create your own job online such as a tutor, website developer, game developer, ebay seller and so on. Find something that you love doing, see if you can make money from it and then go full force at trying to do it. I mean look at me now I’m making
YouTube videos and although I make next to nothing every few days I can buy some 2 minute noodles.
