In this part, we start out by crossing the village and sneaking into Rusl's house to get the Ordon Sword. Once in our possession, we leave towards the twilight barrier but are stopped by the Light Spirit Ordona. We save her from the Shadow Beasts that attack and learn that we may regain our Hylian form if we can save the Light Spirit, Faron up ahead. After entering the twilight barrier, we meet Faron who tells us we need to collect 15 Tears of Light which are held by the Dark Insects. After crossing the forest collecting all of the Tears of Light, we return to Faron and regain our Hylian form.
