5The Land of Pain is an lovecraftian horror adventure game developed by Alessandro Guzzo. We play the role of a man who goes on a hike to an old cabin. This is because the place is special to him, as he used to spend a lot of time there with his father, who has already died. The protagonist, like his father, loves nature and beautiful views. He decides to spend the night in the cabin and go at dawn to another interesting place to rest and enjoy the beautiful views from the top. Upon reaching the cabin, he decides to go to the well with a bucket to fetch water, but when he returns with it he notices a large, strange and silvery orb near his cabin. The man, under the influence of a strong feeling, touches the orb and loses consciousness. After regaining it, his wonderful adventure turns into a dark nightmare.
