Mugglemoo: What type of themed food would be in your park?
K9cantina: How would the layout be? Different worlds like Mario/Zelda similar to Disney World, or would it all be one large park?
HamboneJonny: Would this be all things Nintendo? Or just focused on the big IPs?
Hambone: I’d love to see one of those haunted house “rides” where they give you a blaster and you try to earn points for your cart. Swap that out with the NES blaster and Duck Hunt ducks!
Spidershan: To start I think you need to do the Disney thing (or Islands of Adventure) of breaking it up into different lands. You have the Mushroom Kingdom as you enter but you can take warps to Donkey Kong Country, Zebes, Animal Crossing Village, Wuhu Island, and, of course, Hyrule. The Mushroom Kingdom would have the Mario Kart ride, a Luigi’s Mansion Haunted House type ride, and maybe some type of 3D Mario interactive game/ride. Metroid area would have some type of thrill/“scary” ride through the planet. Wuhu Island could have some interactive sports like bowling, baseball, maybe a Mario Mini-golf course. Animal Crossing would be more kids focused with interactive ways to “catch” fish and bugs that they can turn in for bells. Probably a Brewster Cafe restaurant and routine shows given by KK Slider. Using the same projector technology as Disney the AC characters would easily come to life. I think a nice easy river ride would work well in that area too. Donkey Kong Country area would have have a mine cart ride obviously, but also other theme park staples with the Nintendo charm. I think if they found a way to create some hidden “collectibles” within that area it would really make it next level! Hyrule would have an interactive level of adventure. It could have some form of VR dungeons that you have to problem solve your way through. I also think some type of ride similar to the level and scope of the Rise of the Resistance at Hollywood Studios would work well. As you travel to the different Nintendo lands the music changes to immerse yourself.
