279In 1996 two video tapes were released in japan, they were OVAs (which stands for Original Video Animation), two episodes of a Sonic Anime that Sonic Team helped created *much like with Sonic X* which sadly never took off, Part 1 was called "Welcome to Eggmanland" and Part 2 was called "Sonic VS Metal Sonic!!" even tho it never became a full series like Sonic X it have a bunch ideas that would be revisited in Sonic Adventure, Sonic had such a cool design in this anime now you can play as this Sonic in Sonic Adventure DX!
