Overwatch Isn't Dying - Unless We Kill It!
Overwatch and Overwatch 2, and the Overwatch Community are at a crossroads. Blizzconline / Blizzcon 2021 coming up - and whatever is announced, how the Overwatch Community and fans of the game and world react will be crucial to the game's future health. You can't please everyone, all the time, so, unless Blizzard achieve a miracle, I'm sure Blizzconline 2021 will be frustrating for some. Let's review where Overwatch is, the bigger and longer-term picture of the last 5 years (and the wider world of gaming), and what there is to be positive about in future. Overwatch is by no means dead or in a bad position if you look at the big picture - unless we kill it!

Timecodes below in the description to navigate around - a long video! I cover wider social media/gaming trends too towards the end, and my one (1) person's take on how the community and discussions online around Overwatch have felt in recent months.
Whatever Blizzconline brings - not everyone will be happy - and that's OK! Given the year Overwatch has had, I feel it's important to step back and see where the game and community seem to be at, where Overwatch 2 *realistically* will be at after Blizzconline, and how the approach of everyone who likes the game to the news will be important for the future!
