Zenyatta always lacked survivability as well as mobility. He had a relatively low health pool, and because he has no skills to quickly move around he was not played very much in the competitive scene. As a matter of fact, before this recent patch he was not played in the professional tournaments whatsoever.
In this video I explain the changes that they've made to Zenyatta, as well as show you gameplay with the Hero. He's not a powerful well-rounded character who may never be the most popular on the very highest level but he is most definitely a great choice on the ranked ladder or in quick match.
Zenyatta calls upon orbs of harmony and discord to heal his teammates and weaken his opponents, all while pursuing a transcendent state of immunity to damage.
