Pandora's Tower (Stream 3)
7Probably one of the most overlooked and underrated games, and my personal favorite game of all. It isn't perfect, but it is to me. It's got a mostly silent protagonist named Aeron who risks his life to fight monsters in a bunch of crazy towers to save his girlfriend from a curse. Speaking of which, Elena is the best side character ever.
The game has many different endings, all of them bad aside for one, and that is the only ending I strive for. It all depends on your bond with Elena. The game also has a timer that starts when you enter a tower, showing Elena's curse progression, take too long and it will be game over, it can add a ton of stress to exploration and fights, especially boss battles.
The gameplay is a cross between Zelda and Castlevania with hack and slash and a lot of puzzle elements. Don't even get me started on the soundtrack, Beautiful is the best way for me to describe it. Honestly the only real downside of this game is that it uses the Wii remote, but even the motion controls aren't much of a hindrance, that and the puzzles can get a bit out of hand sometimes, but I've always hated puzzles.
I could spurg out about this game forever.
