Paper Mario vs "Paper" Mario | Maniac Reviews
The Paper Mario series are some of my absolute favorite RPG's of all time. They are wonderful, beginner friendly RPG's that engage the player by drawing them into a friendly world while entertaining them with a super fun story. However, that isn't an experience that we were able to have for long. Paper Mario Color Splash and Sticker Star are both drastically different games that aren't even in the same genre as Paper Mario 64 or The Thousand Year Door. But with Paper Mario and the Origami King, we can see how it attempts to bridge the gap between what older fans enjoy and what the new games set out to accomplish. So, let's look at both series and see how they influenced the newest entry of the series!
