So yeah this was the last day I streamed Pax Dei closed Alpha 2 test: Wilderness, but wasn't the last day I played it.
here are my thoughts of the game:
Pros: Extreamly detailed sandbox game with crafting, hunting, and wandering in mind. Only dangers in the main world are from animals like Packs of boar, wolves, and bears. If you go to an enemy town or cave there are humans as well that fight you. PVP isn't everywhere which means you CAN do everything you need to do without getting jumped. EVERYONE I meet playing in game were super nice, the community is great, and I felt safe asking where to find things or giving advice on how I made our 2 story home.
Cons: For me not many. There are visual issues later where clothing doesn't lay right. Theres also a not really good crafting of something like grapes to raisins. 10 Grapes = 1 Raisin for example. There is also not much reason to wander to far from home where we were at. Each area has the same stuff, but harder and harder PVE elements.
For those who want adventure and action THIS IS NOT THE GAME FOR YOU. It is NOT an MMORPG with a story. It is NOT a survival game like 7 Days to Die. It is a MMO SANDBOX game. The end.
I will happily buy this game when it comes out and play it off stream because its relaxing like many of my farming and crafting cozy games are. Brava for costume accuracies for the time period.
