Phantasy Star Online 2 is a Japanese MMO that originally launched back in 2012. There was a limited release to the wider audience in English in 2014 but due to lack of marketing and popularity it didn't last long. However, in 2020 Saga released a new English global release with proper marketing. Now on the cusp of NGS we will explore the original game and current events while we wait on the official drop of NGS.
Some people refer to PSO2 as a "light" mmo. However, the truth is it is a full MMO with every feature that players love! It has infinite quests, seasonal events, timed events, daily rewards, loot boxes, solo, co-op, epic boss fights, crafting, a housing system, and an extensive fashion system.
