Phantasmagoria was developed by Roberta Williams at Sierra, and originally released in 1995 for Windows, MS-DOS, and even the Sega Saturn . It is a far cry from many of the fantasy and cheerful Sierra point and click adventure games of the past. Phantasmagoria follows the story of Adrienne Delaney and Don Gordon as they move into their new mansion. Naturally, nothing is as it seems, and the new home hides many secrets and puzzles that must be discovered and solved to find out the true horror residing in this mansion.
