Players Football Manager Got WRONG
2,135Football Manager has over 350,000 players in it. It is an impossible task to try to get all of them exactly right, but sometimes there are players that stand out as a big swing and a miss from FM. I rolled back the database to the original FM20 one and combed through all the players Reece and I could come up with. The results are a reminder that your past doesn’t determine your future - no matter how good FM is.
I have to say I love Football Manager and know the job they have to do is very difficult. SI certainly is right more than I am, but it’s always interesting to take a look at where such a robust scouting system has gone wrong. I try to differentiate between seasoned players who are breaking out and wonderkids that FM undersold last year. There’s also a player FM thought was a wonderkid and well, he just isn’t right now. All that and MORE! What a promoter I am.
