Seriously, folks. We are women, but not YOUR women. "Dear" is only acceptable when they are your girlfriend or wife, or "Dear so-and-so" when opening a letter. Frankly, I hate writing "Dear so-and-so" to open a professional letter, or letter to someone, who is not dear to me.
