Poke646: Vendetta | Radix | No Failure Run
5This one's a bit trickier to get working compared to some of the other wirejams. Y'see, Poke646: Vendetta actually kept the nailguns from its predecessor, Poke646. However, the introduction of the assault rifle (Par21) results in Mindmotor ignoring the fact that the nailguns are a notch malfunctioning. Thankfully, they're easy enough to fix. The files for the most part and code are still maintained, it's only the sprites that are funky. A few renames and copy/paste, works just fine after. I've included the fix here so ya'll don't have to fuss like I did.
Considering I can't notice any differences between the foundations aside from the rusted pipe, I don't really see any reason to wirejam stuff for OG Poke646. It does cause a bit of a dilemma, as a result. Naming it just Poke646 would be neat and tidy, but since I'm using Vendetta as the main "gameplay mod" component, it might cause confusion for folks wanting to wirejam themselves. Decided to mix both sides, using Vendetta in the name but keeping the tidy name for the thumbnails.
Anyways, the map being wirejammed. Radix. Excellent mapset. Considering some of the textures from Radix are taken straight from P646, it almost fits snugly like a glove. Okay, granted, Bill does not show up in Poke646, but I'll take second closest. Shame I couldn't get the hidden crossbow that I used to replace the other hidden pickup, movement was made slow enough to not reach the jump and there's some kind of monster clipping that prevents me from dragging barney there as a makeshift platform. Alas.
