Pokémon Legends Arceus Graphics Comparison Vs Pokémon Battle Revolution & PokéPark Wii
90No opinions or arguments or anything this time, just purely comparison
I honestly wasn't sure what to expect before making this, I was genuinely curious to see how this turned out
An important note to consider here are Pokémon Battle Revolution and PokéPark were run in Dolphin in HD, meaning the number of pixels has increased but with all the assets and everything of the original games, similar to something you'd see in 3D All-Stars or Skyward Sword HD (apart from some very minor graphical changes those titles had). So while this will look better on PC with a 1080p resolution as oppose to native Wii 480p graphics, all the models, textures, render distance, and everything are completely unchanged.
And because some seem convinced I picked out the “best screenshots of PokePark”, I should also mention this is literally the first hour of gameplay, which I would know from recording and playing it myself specifically for this video. I could have played though the entire game to find the “best screenshots”, but hey, I’ve got other things to do with my time, I figured the first hour was all I’d put in for this (first hour being tutorial area and talking to Buizel in second area for that model comparison and that’s it), and searching across the internet for the best screenshots I could find or og promotional content or anything really isn’t my style
The important notes about Legends Arceus to consider is while most of this footage is from the most recent trailer, some is from the original reveal trailer if it offered a better shot of x Pokémon. Some things have been changed since the initial trailer (like I believe Bidoof has actual eyes now, though for the one small opinionated thing in this description, doesn't it seem strange to release a trailer to a game where something like that isn't present? At least it's not like Anthem where a trailer was released before they even had a game...)
And then also keep in mind for the sake of making side by side clips play together better I would slow down some clips to take up additional runtime, so you have more than like two seconds to look back and forth between both. So please don't consider this a framerate comparison (and even if it was, a stream PC running Dolpin compared to the Switch wouldn’t be a fair frame rate comparison anyway)
