JP: あんこくのみらいで In the Future of Darkness

Unlocked after graduating from Wigglytuff's Guild.

• (2:20) No "whoosh", befitting a bleak setting.
• (3:47; 3:55) きさま! (…) おのれ! (both extremely rude terms of address, so yes, he's quite angry about this)
• (4:37) Grovyle, Celebi, the player, and some people we never meet.
• (5:47) Dungeons are mostly similar; tons of Ghosts, a few stuff with long-range attacks (eg. Jumpluff's Bullet Seed or Cacturne's Pin Missile). Just use your best judgment; Leaf Blade is quite powerful, Absorb serves as emergency healing, and Dig gets rid of most stuff Leaf Blade doesn't.
• (9:09) They're actually Shy Guys, true story.
• (11:28) Fittingly, Dusknoir has Ice Punch (both because Grass-types hate Ice and to reflect the future's metaphorically "cold" disposition). Dusknoir (and his Ghost-type moves) can go through walls, useful against the myriad Ghosts of this world.
• (11:51) Dark Wasteland actually has 16 floors, but due to programming weirdness, the cutscene loads after 4F (so you never go through the remaining 12).
• (20:05) As expected, the Time Gear shrine was destroyed in the original timeline.
• (20:21) IT'S V-GENERATE, NOT V-CREATE! GODDAMN IT TPCI!
• (21:23) What, did Dark Dialga somehow shift the entirety of Fogbound Lake to the Hidden Land in its madness?
• (21:46) That's totally not suspicious at all, right guys?
• (27:36) Again, Porygon are artificial; WHERE DID THE HUMANS GO?!
• (28:04) Porygon can learn Teleport in Generation 1 ONLY (and transferred to Gen. 7 onward via Bank); there is no way to get one legitimately in Gens. 3–6.
• (29:47) So he's like Roxas?
• (33:47) True at time of writing, with 130 base Attack. Black Kyurem and Crabominable have since surpassed it, though the former is usually banned from formal competition (and doesn't even get a spammable physical Ice move, and no, Freeze Shock does not count) and the latter is just blah otherwise.
• (35:44–35:53) Basically "it's nothing", when it's really something! Come on, tell us you REALLY feel.
• (37:07–37:09) http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Wookieepedia:Quote_of_the_Day/15_December_2010 (I miss the REAL Star Wars…)
• (37:32) It's a JRPG, you learn to just go along with the cheeseball quotes.
• (38:54) And it can indeed talk coherently. Meanwhile, my Snorunt…uh, Froslass, just says generic partner quotes!
• (42:49) "I can't be caught!" You were saying… This is why you should never get overconfident!
• (43:04) Give me back my Sleep Seed!
• (43:40) It's telling you to get the hell out of there, you fool! Did the mere sight of Celebi make you take leave of your senses?!
• (45:19–45:24) Irritatingly, the main characters are just slow-witted enough for this to possibly work…although someone like Cresselia would probably interfere anyway. Not to mention the lake guardians and the spacetime dragons would also be on guard for anything suspicious (the former three probably felt REALLY stupid after that deception and would be even more cautious than usual, and the latter two don't appreciate intruders into their domains). Possibly Wigglytuff too, in his own unique manner.
• (47:05) It's probably because I've been on the cynical parts of the internet for so long, but I've never understood this sentiment.
• (50:54) OH SNAP YOU GONE DONE IT NOW
• (51:24) Use a Normal move on a Steel-type, what could possibly go wrong?
• (51:49) "Screw this, I'm outta here!"
• (54:40) lolwut? The entire point of Dark Dialga is that it completely lost its mind when the Tower collapsed! Delusional much?
• (56:05) ひょうざん can also refer to icebergs; this and Dark Ice Mountain are translated ultra-literally because they're located on land, not water (it took me 8 years to figure that one out…I feel stupid).
• (56:49) Naturally, the game decides to punish my cheeseball antics by dropping me in the furthest possible room.
• (1:06:02) Arceus, the creator deity of the Pokémon universe; not actually recruitable, but they did program an unfinished version of its signature move Judgment. There's a statue of it at the top of Destiny Tower (you get a Space Globe [everyone: flat ×2 boost to damage dealt] for reaching it).
• (1:06:06) And where was Mr. Extremespeed Killer during this whole mess anyway? Isn't it its job to fix this sort of thing? Whatever. Probably decided to step in after Darkrai's last plan failed, satisfied it wouldn't be a threat again.

That's that...I felt it would be fitting to end the playthrough on the final special episode.
