In this video, we'll explore an intriguing strategy within the Anomaly, The Yogg-iseum, and how it can lead to victory in this season.
The Yogg-iseum Anomaly is a unique challenge, where, at the start of each turn, everyone spins the SAME Wheel of the Yogg-Saron. It's not random for all; it's the same spin and reward for everyone. Although it might not be everyone's favorite, we've discovered an exciting way to make it work for us.
Our strategy revolves around the Tier 6 Mech minion, Polarizing Beatboxer. By acquiring and buffing this mighty Mech with magnetizing minions, we can create an unstoppable force. The Polarizing Beatboxer acts as a continuous buffing mechanism as the Wheel of Yogg-Saron shifts stats to other minions. Keep rebuffing the Polarizing Beatboxer, and you'll be amazed at the results.
Not only does this strategy create a formidable board, but thanks to the magnetizing minions providing coins, we managed to amass a staggering 50 gold per turn. It's a risky approach, but it paid off with a well-deserved victory.
We're always excited to try new builds and discover innovative ways to play the game in Season 5. This strategy was a fantastic way to kick off the new season!
Battlegrounds Season 5 is here, and it's more intense than ever. With over 30 new minions, seven formidable opponents, and a variety of Anomalies to master, the competition has reached new heights.
Speaking of Anomalies, Battlegrounds Season 5 introduces a thrilling new seasonal system known as Anomalies. These game-changing effects are randomly set at the beginning of each game, ensuring that all players face the same challenge. Keep in mind that Anomaly appearance rates vary, affecting which minions, minion types, and heroes are available in your game.
Additionally, Tier 7 Minions are now accessible through Thorim's Hero Power or in games with the Secrets of Norgannon Anomaly. When this Anomaly is active, you can access Tier 7 minions through normal means, including upgrading the Tavern, getting triples, Patient Scout, and more. With Tier 7 active, there are five copies of each Tier 7 minion in the game's minion pool, making for some exciting gameplay.
