In Potata: Fairy Flower, you play as a young witch named Potata who must venture out into fairy forest. During her adventure, she encounters all sorts of enemies to battle, puzzles to figure out and solve, and secrets to discover. While it may seem less intense than other games of the same type, this naturally makes it more accessible to a younger audience, and the art aesthetic is cute and cartoon-like.

While I wasn’t as much of a fan as I thought it might be, my daughter absolutely adores this game, and has subsequently taken over my Playstation 5 to play Potata for hours a day.

Right now the game is available on Steam for PC at $8.99, and for Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch it is $14.99

Developed and Published by Sometimes You, Potata Fairy Flower is an 2D Side-Scrolling Adventure Platformer that released December 17th, 2019 for PC and on August 2nd, 2023 for Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. For this review video, I played the Playstation 5 version.
