27The relation between doctor and patient will drastically change. Modern technology will give patients control over their own health. The relation between doctor and patient is going to change revolutionary. Modern technology turns the patient into a master of his own health, with the doctor on a distance. The doctor gets more time for his most important drug: personal attention for the patient. This will put the patient back in the lead.
Back in the days, a patient put his health in the hands of a doctor. But nowadays patients are articulate and want to discuss with a doctor about the care they receive. And then there is modern technology that gives a patient independence. This all makes that a doctor can talk to a patient on a whole new level.
