PT 31 FINAL | Final Fantasy XIII First Playthrough | Hard Mode | Ray Tracing 4K 60fps Japanese Audio
0First time playing Final Fantasy XIII! This is the steam release modded with fixes to improve stability, some upscaled textures and models, and a hard difficulty mod to bring a better challenge to the game. I'm also playing with the Japanese VA dub. I have previously played Final Fantasy I - XII (completing most), VII Remake, XVI and some XIV.
The game is played at an internal 4k resolution (1440p recording) at a locked 60fps with RTGI (ray traced global illumination) from ReShade so you should get good visual fidelity as well as louder game audio. I've provided some light commentary as well to voice my thoughts as a newcomer to XIII. Hope you enjoy!
Hard Mod adjustments:
- Chain limited to 600% (default 999.99%)
- Faster enemy ATB recharge +50% (frequent attacks)
- Enemy increased HP 50-75% (less for large HP enemies)
- Enemy favoured stats +25% increase
- Enemy balanced stats +15% increase
- Stagger time reduced by 25%
Gameplay tweaks (I'm not sure what these all do yet but supposedly quality of life):
- Tier 3 Weapon Level Increase to 125
- Improved catalog drop rates
- High CP Crystarium Nodes
- Vanille higher magic at cost of strength
- Lightning Synergist adjustment

- Adjusted drop rates
- Running speed +15%
