the only thing in this song that isn't restored is the triangle wave towards the end of the loop. it's most likely a sample that was made in-house, and since I'm still a noob at FM synthesis I don't even know where to start when it comes to recreating it. but as far as the rest of the instruments go, the most noticeable differences are the bass (different sample ranges), the accordion (extra sample), the piano (straight rip from the Roland SC-55), and the muted guitar. there's also the tambourine, which sounds so crystal clear without compression... so clear in fact that I decided to EQ the treble down a bit so it wasn't so sharp
