Reventure is the one and only non-linear adventure with 100 different endings. The game was released on June 4, 2019 for the PC.
You are a wannabe hero who is supposed to do hero-ish things but sometimes blows that off and does crazy stuff instead. Choose your path, every decision leads to a new ending.
Will you find the real one? Is there such a thing? There's only one way to know...
There are lots of "Aha!" moments and the world doesn't change with each new game, but you do.
Well, actually it DOES change, but that's a secret for you to find out. Find new playable characters, hints, costumes, visual effects and more! Bazillions of secrets and pop-culture references can also be found, if you look hard enough!
In December 2017 Javi Cepa did the very first prototype known as Lonk's Greedy Adventure during a 48h GameJam contest (Ludum Dare). The game ranked #3 overall. The full project development started 6 months later. The game first publicly available version featured 50 endings and was made available through early access on Steam as Lonk's Adventure on the 22nd of October 2018.
The development team included Javi Cepa working on game design, narrative, art, code and sound and Alberto Martin on code. Juan Delgado and Miguel Criado helped with QA, testing and bugfixing at some points through the early access phase. The soundtrack was composed and produced by Daniel Parejo, with a couple of themes keeping close to Javi's GameJam composition.
In May 2019, the name of the game was changed to Reventure. A common misunderstanding is that this was made to avoid conflicts with the Nintendo character, but was in fact the result of user feedback and to avoid brand conflicts with the Lonk meme, since parody is legal but this could be considered the copy of a parody.
On the 4th of June 2019, the game was finally released!
