Subaru has been in this world for one month and adapting to his new life. But, an emissary has been sent by the royal castle to send word that the royal selection has been delayed... but no reason as to why! In search on answers Subaru, Emilia and Rem head off to the capital where they bump into a sixth candidate for the throne... despite the prophecy stating there would only be five. Suspicious are thrown around as to who is the illegitimate candidate is... with eyes on Emilia.
