Road Blaster was a Laserdisc based FMV game released in the Arcades in 1985. 8 years later it was ported to the Sega CD under the name Road Avenger (in North America at least) as there was already an Atari game called Road Blasters here.

This is one of the many Sega CD games (along with the system itself) that I rented back in the day and it was impressive to see the hand drawn animation moving around the screen to the awesomely cheesy theme song with vocal lyrics! I remember hooking the Sega-CD systems audio into my parents Technics receiver and cranking the music impressing class mates from school who came over to see the game. Yes it was still an impressive game to see in 1993 (must have been REALLY impressive in the arcades in 1985!) but did you want to buy it at full price?
