Official gameplay description: "RoadOut is a post-apocalyptic action adventure game that mixes dungeon exploration and racing mechanics. Unravel the mysteries and dangers of the Dead Zone by performing tasks in the role of a mercenary. Fight bandits, rival gangs, robots from an ancient A. I. and participate in deadly races.
The world is dominated by an A.I. and rebel groups take refuge in a desert area known as the Dead Zone. You’re Claire, a mercenary with no past, who survives by executing delivery, sabotage and murder contracts for local leaders, while discovering about her past, revealing strange evidence that links her existence with the origin an old AI Overlord. Explore caves, ancient dungeons, bunkers, cities and many other hidden mysteries in the Dead Zone.
Living as a mercenary has its benefits, but you must choose very well for who you work for, there are 3 major factions dominating the dead zone, and performing jobs for one will not always please another. Craft and modify your body and your car to survive, the possibilities of combinations are immense and depending on the situation you can find different ways to overcome it."
