When waking up around 2:30AM, waiting, then falling asleep around 3:00AM-4:00AM will give you a chance to enter the world by "no-clipping" or falling through reality. Most have been here at least twice, only the first visit being near impossible to remember. If it is your second visit, you will spawn in the Deserted dimension, finding your way to the Backrooms dimension. It is unknown why most mortals feel an instant need to travel there, later getting lost.
Keep a watch at all times and follow the rules or you may become a Lost Soul. Humans can only break rules, not entities. Once a rule is broken once, you cannot break it again, luckily. Most mortals choose to wake up and leave around 30 minutes after wandering. If you stay longer than an hour, without a watch, you are stuck. If you had a watch there is a way to escape but it's very challenging.
Each portal or dimension could have a specific effect or emotion that it makes you feel. Wearing a certain suit will protect you from these effects. If not protected, after an hour, you will lose sanity almost completely and just barely remember your normal human life. Staying in the portal "Thought" in the "Skies" dimension will give you some sense of sanity and nostalgia after that hour.
