Stay tuned for an edited down tutorial version with commentary where I will try to break everything down better. Around 6 hours 4 minutes to beat. Most of that time I spent practicing with save and load states until I completed the game that way, then beat the game on my first full attempt (first full attempt meaning exhausting all lives and continues). I had one partial attempt since I did not practice an early fire trap sequence enough and decided to reset. The game has limited lives and continues , so this unedited version shows the tension as I barely completed the game at the end, on the first attempt. I edited out a few pause breaks that lasted over 1-3 minutes. I practiced and beat the game over 2 days. Some of the things I practiced the previous day werent as fresh so there was definately parts where I had to die a few times to remember exactly what I did in practice. The game gives you 1 ups at some hard sections and they come back when you die, so that helped minimise lost lives. Easy is the default difficulty the game starts you at and gives you a standard amount of continues and lives. The main difference I see with the difficulties is lives and continues are reduced depending on which difficulty. I didnt try them to see if they are actually harder gameplay wise.
