Rocket Knight Adventures Playthrough: Stage 7 & Ending (American Easy)
4Sparkster finds the space headquarters of the Devotindos Empire: The Pig Star. Looks like it took a cue from Sonic 2's Death Egg, but it's no doubt that BOTH the Pig Star and Death Egg are actually based on Star Wars' Death Star.
A little after the level starts, Sparkster confronts Emperor Devligus. This guy is DAMN fast for pig man. You can only hit him with rocket charges, so do that while dodging his quick moves.
VERY quickly after his defeat, you find out that Devligus is a robot, and you have to charge attack him again to beat him for good. THEN you find out that he's a mass-produced robot within the Pig Star that you'll have to deal with for a little while in the next couple areas.
The area after those has Axel Gear confront his rival one last time, using quicker version of all of Sparkster's moves. Hit him enough and he'll "Spin Dash" with so much force that it makes a massive hole in the Pig Star with the intent of throwing Sparkster into space. He has to grab onto poles to prevent this.
At first, Axel will start flying around, shooting small missiles at you, if you manage to hit him enough, he'll lose all of those missiles and fly through the whole, only to come back, somehow more powerful than ever, trying to knock you into space himself. If you defeat him this time, he's done for good, with the area even going black & white to prove this.
Moving on, you encounter more Emperor bots, but the next areas you see beyond that lowers Sparkster's gravity, so he can jump higher.
You'll eventually reach the final boss of the game, the Pig Star Core itself! It was this thing that made that whole army to begin with, so it has to be stopped.
Hit its red weakpoint as it appears while dodging its many attacks, it'll eventually explode and with it, the entire Pig Star. Sparkster now has to use an escape pod to get back to his home world of Elhorn.
And then, what do you know? THE DAMN CORE FOLLOWS SPARKSTER AS ONLY A MONITOR!
At this point, you can't attack it at all. Just dodge its attacks long enough for Sparkster to enter Elhorn's atmosphere. The heat gets so intense that the Core finally explodes once and for all.
Sparkster safely lands back in the kingdom of Zebulos, and returns Princess Sherry to King Zebulos.
Daughter and Father have a tearful reunion while Sparkster flies away, his mission completed. The king and princess wave "goodbye" to him as Sparkster travels to a new land.
