LOLLIPOP CHAINSAW
Lollipop Chainsaw is an action, horror-comedy and hack and slash video game developed by Grasshopper Manufacture for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It features Juliet Starling as the protagonist, a cheerleader who fights zombies in a fictional California high school.
A collaboration between game designer Suda 51 and filmmaker James Gunn, the game was published by Kadokawa Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and was released June 12, 2012 in the United States and June 14, 2012 in Japan.
Synopsis
Lollipop Chainsaw tells the story of Juliet (voiced by Tara Strong in English and Eri Kitamura/Yōko Hikasa in Japanese), a cheerleader who, on her 18th birthday, finds herself in the middle of a zombie attack on her school. Instead of running or hiding, the heroine of this game decides to take matters into her own hands. At least it's with them that she handles her electric chainsaw, with which many undead will lose their minds when trying to evade her attacks.
However, it is necessary not only to dismember the creatures from beyond, but also to outwit and weaken them with quick attacks based on movements used by real-life cheerleaders. Thus, Juliet will have to use all her skills to escape the zombie apocalypse that occurred on her birthday, as well as save students and school staff lost in the confusion. After all, the more victims fall, the more zombies will rise.
