Q - So basically, when you've done it, the police items will be in your wardrobe?
A - You need to save them as an outfit, and then you can equip the outfit anytime you want. If you make a variant of it, then that also needs to be saved, because the Radio Belt and Cap don't appear in your wardrobe (They dont count as proper clothes I guess).
