SAO Alicization Episode 1 Adaptation Comparison: LN vs Anime
47This is the start of a weekly series where I will be directly comparing the SAO Alicization anime adaptation with its Light Novel source material. The goal of this series is to point out any changes the adaptation makes and give context to anything that the anime fails to fully explain.
In this video I will be discussing the changes and issues with episode 1 of the anime adaptation of SAO Season 3, Alicization. All scenes are sourced and compared down to the page number and scanned from the physical light novel for the greatest accuracy possible.
Episode 1 covers Sword Art Online: Alicization Beginning, Volume 9, pages 1 through 113. The anime ends 2 pages before the end of the chapter so I will also give some additional context to what happened at the end of the episode
At the end of each video, I will be giving a rough preview of the events that will likely be covered in the following weeks episode.
