Sea of Stars ep 1 -An Ode to The Classics-
0I just couldn't do it anymore with Yakuza 0. As much as I am enjoying the story and characters, that combat system is so clunky, especially when engaging in anymore then 2 baddies at once. So many times my dodges would be ineffective cuz someone hit me, so then I'm getting pummeled cuz I'm stuck in place!!! After a frustrating string of narrative driven street fights, I couldn't do it anymore. SSSSOOOOO, I moved us on to Sea of Stars until I can land my copy of Like a Dragon and we can finish that and move on.
Sea of Stars is just DRIPPING with all the nostalgic feels I needed. If you haven't already, I suggest playing Messenger, it's set in the same world. You follow the story of Valarie and Zed, future Solstice Warriors. Solstice Warriors are trained with cleansing the world of these beasts, left behind by a powerful evil deity. One warrior bears the force of the moon and the other the power of the sun. We have trained since our childhood for this journey. Finally, the time has come and together we set out to save the world.
