Sea of Stars - Review [An Instant Classic!] (PS4, PS5, PC, Switch, Xbox)
120Sea of Stars! Ever since its highly successful Kickstarter campaign back in 2020, the hype for this gorgeous retro style RPG has been huge! Sea of Stars, developed by Sabotage Studio, is set 1000 years before their debut game, the Messenger, which was a very well received action-platformer released in 2018.
Long story short, Sea of Stars is sensational, and I know it sounds cliché, but it really is a love letter to SNES era JRPGs, with clear inspirations from games like Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG and Lufia.
If you’re a fan of these classic experiences, then playing Sea of Stars should be a no brainer. Watch this review to find out why!
