Second Sight - The Time Splitters Devs forgotten Game | Tarks Gauntlet
316Free Radical Design, Makers of the Time Splitters series and Haze, were once a force to be reckoned with in the gaming world. A team of passionate developers pushing the boundaries of the first and 3rd person shooter. However as gaming shifted into the HD generation and budgets exploded Free Radical would find themselves in over their heads, and certain deals struck behind the scenes would eventually spell their doom.
But before all that happened they released a 1-off title that seems to be nearly forgotten today. Second Sight. A psychological horror, thriller and 3rd person shooter, complete with special psyonic abilities to use during combat that would bring to mind other games such as Clive Barkers Undying or the later released Bioshock Trilogy.
Though Second Sight was well ahead of its time, as most of Free Radical Designs games were, the question remains, it's it worth the second look today?
