The challenge for this run was to not use the basic attack R1. You need to use it for deathblows as they are necessary to progress the game and for the divine dragon as if can't be beaten otherwise. As well to not use combat arts. I started out not using makiri count, but halfway through I started using it as it isn't a combat art.

I did this challenge on NG+5, I didn't realize I should have done it in a new playthrough as I'm not experienced in doing challenge runs, but it was still interesting to try.
