this is a reconstruction of the beta mix of Hero from an early version of Serious Sam 3: BFE. all of the random cuts in the audio have been patched up by yours truly. (myself)

The differences between the beta and final mix:

1. the bass and synths are louder and more prominent in this compared to the final version, leading to it sounding slightly odd at times.

2. the screaming vocal sections are missing some of voice effects that were used in the original to help give them a raspier and more crisp sound. the lack of these effects makes the screaming sections sound a bit more raw and emptier.

3. the pre-chorus ("And i know that if we go...") is lacking the extra punchy backing vocals and is just quieter overall compared to how it sounds in the final version.

4. the chorus is missing many layers of backing vocals that are supposed to make it sound more epic and high-spirited in the final version, leading to the chorus sounding rather flat and less powerful when it comes around.

5. the drums are different. they're louder and overall more prominent compared to the final drums that were used.
