Hey guys Matt here, back with another classic video about a Pokemon that has a different colouring.

Okay, so my good buddy got me the Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc a while back to start this hunt. I was doing it with the full resets for a while, but dropped it since the hunt was really intensive and I couldn't do it at the time, and just haven't felt like picking it back up for a few years. Its a daunting challenge, and unlike normal SRing its tough to do other things while keeping up.

Fast forward to 4 days ago, I had just finished a Ruby hunt for a 25% Zangoose on Route 114 on the 4th phase, so I decided to make a slick little setup to make resets easier while watching something or playing games. I had seen The DomiNATION's video on the quick reset method back when he posted that, so I figured it was finally time start it up again. I'm still shocked that this hunt didn't take me at least a few months. I was definitely ready to go for the long haul, but the Jirachi had other plans lol.

The DomiNATION goes very in depth about how the corrupting save data method works in his video. But I found out you can actually skip the animation, which saves a lot more time. You can also consistently keep your save from rolling back to a Jirachi by changing the frames between the two saves after your data gets corrupted before you receive a new one. Hope that helps some people get even faster reset times.

It helped me immensely, cant thank him enough for putting a spotlight on it. Doing those 8m long resets to get the Pokedex, like I was originally, really sucked.

Oh, and the whiteboard is just from when I first started the hunt a few years back, so the resets on it aren't accurate, just thought it'd be neat to show. I probably did around a couple hundred more back then, and I did another few hundred since Monday with the 3 consoles. I don't really count resets that often because its kind of a pain in the ass lol. I also had another 2 copies of Ruby I was using too, but I couldn't get them to correctly corrupt the save data, so I just used my first two Rubies and my Sapphire for the hunt.

Super stoked that I got the Jirachi so quickly though! I've also been doing resets for Deoxys in FRLG and Emerald for a couple weeks, so lets hope he shines soon. Might make another video when he does showcasing him and Jirachi, and in Colosseum too, but who knows.
