Skills, Food, Equipment, And You! AMONSTER MENU: THE SCAVENGER'S COOKBOOK [NSW/PS] Video Guide
24There's so many things to talk about in this video (which I recorded a week ago but only just managed to finish editing, lol) about the Character Status Screen, Skills, Food, and Equipment (including how to farm them). Below are the timestamps:

Additional information I couldn't add during filming and editing:
- On Meals:
The BEST meals to eat on the 1st Orgonne (and you really should make the most of the first one to buff your characters and make later floors easier) are Raw Veggies (Hay, Hay/Rafflesia/Face Root/Viper Vine) for the speed boost (useful for your Chefs/Healers), Bug Kebabs (Bug and branch) for 10% Atk boost, Grilled Meat (meat and branch) for 5% Atk boost, BBQ Kebabs (meat, hay, branch) for 10% Atk and Def boost, and Fried Eyes (3 Eyeballs or an Eyeball and a fruit) for a 5% boost. Most of the ingrediets for these can be found in the harvest points and when harvesting enemies.
- On Prepping Items:
To unlock more Prep options, like boiling, freezing, steaming and the likes, you would need to fix/repair the necessary items for them. Be sure to check your crafting (via recipes) to see what you need to unlock them. It is important to unlock the Steamer once you get the Bahnana Leaves in order to unlock steaming and be able to Prep Large Eggs for the Steamed Large Egg (the item that provides mimic transformation).
Until you unlock the intestine recipes, you can use the busted gut as a monster feeding item that can poison and/or paralyze the enemy when fed. You just need to prep it.
Other items that I didn't mention in the video that you can Prep are: Flour Fly Lava (Crush, Cut, Stew, Boil it to turn it into Fly Meal then you can Boil that to get Udon. Rice Flies can be prepped with Stew, Boil, or Steam to get Bug Rice. The same could be done with Izar Worms to get Bug Pasta. And, Muddy Water can be boiled, stewed, and frozen to get Pure Water. Firewood can also be burnt into Charcoal (prepping this can be a good antidote to poison when used), Hydro Herbs can also be prepped to get Water if you ever need anything to hydrate on.
- On Spawning the "Bee" enemy:
In my playthrough, I managed to spawn it when my in-game clock reached 01:30 the following day. This version of the enemy is stronger than the 50th Floor Boss, so if you want to fight it, be prepared (and forewarned).
