I recently came into posession of Skylanders SwapForce amd Giants and a shitton of skylanders. So I decided to review the later and see how it ends up being. Knowing Skylanders TrapTeam from my childhood, I am excpecting intuitive controlls, simple puzzles that get komplex near the end, long chapters, a cool story and interesting characters and places. Fun gameplay is also something I expect, as well as decently hard bosses.
Lets see how it faired to these expectations.

Skylanders: Giants is a 2012 video game in the Skylanders series, a direct sequel to the 2011 game Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure. It is a toys to life platforming rpg. You play as a Skylander of your choosing who is placed onto the portal you have connected to your console. These figures could be compared to Amiibos in nature, just that these figures have to stay on the portal all the time.
