Skyrim 100% Maximized Legendary Playthrough - 435. Exploring the Western Pale
1We begin a new chapter today as we move from Hjaalmarch into the Pale for our exploration efforts. We ended last time in Morthal, so we begin by trekking down to Stonehills, and from there we begin exploring everything on the east side of the road until we get to Frostmere Crypt, which of course we've done before.
From there we head around the foot of the mountain to where a trail begins next to the Hall of the Vigilant leading to its top. It's a steep path, and it takes us past Dimhollow Crypt and the Shrine of Mehrunes Dagon, another two locations already explored. What we haven't explored yet at the top of this mountain is the Lord Stone. It's inhabited by three bandits, and our plans to silently pick them off from a distance stealth archer-style doesn't go so hot, both due to inept aim on my part and Meeko decided he wanted to get involved personally.
Once we clear them out though we then finish exploring the area north of the initial trail, ultimately following it as it descends the mountain once more to come out at Fort Dunstad. I didn't quite have the time to include exploring the fort as part of this video, so we cut slightly earlier than usual and will pick up with the fort next time.
