This is video #010 in my playthrough of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition on the PlayStation 4. I am playing the game vanilla. This game has been rated M for Mature by the ESRB. This video contains commentary.

Previously, for "In My Time of Need", Davilas learned that Kematu, the leader of the Alik'r assassins pursuing Saadia, his hiding out at Swindler's Den to the west of Whiterun. Along the way to Swindler's Den, he cleared out some bandits at Halted Stream Camp.

Now, Davilas infiltrates Swindler's Den. Look out for bandits at every turn.

After the pond, he will run into Kematu and his group of Alik'r. The boss chest is in this area. Davilas can either take them all on, or he can talk to Kematu. Kematu will claim that Saadia sold out Hammerfell to the Dominion. I'm not sure I believe him. Davilas agrees to his plan to lure Saadia out to the Whiterun Stables, not to turn her in, but to face Kematu without his men around.

After leaving Swindler's Den, Davilas fast-travels back to Whiterun.

Seeing Ysolda, he gives her a Mammoth Tusk he found at Halted Stream Camp. This concludes the miscellaneous objective "Bring one Mammoth Tusk" to Ysolda. Ysolda boosts Davilas's Speech skill a level.

In the Bannered Mare, he talks to Saadia. He convinces her to go out to Whiterun Stables. Too bad I can't tell her my real plan: to lure Kematu into a trap.

They arrive at the Whiterun Stables. If you plan to betray Kematu, it is best to attack him before he immobilizes Saadia. Even on his own, he can be tough if you're just starting out, but he doesn't have that much health.

Afterwards, when Davilas talks to Saadia, he says the Alik'r won't trouble her anymore. This completes "In My Time of Need". Her reward of 500 gold is excellent.

Up at Dragonsreach, Davilas claims the bounty for killing the Halted Stream Camp bandit leader. The 100 gold bounty is not that great, but it'll do. This concludes the objective "Collect bounty from Proventus Avenicci".

At the Bannered Mare, Davilas takes on a new bounty: "Kill the bandit leader located at Silent Moons Camp". Fortunately, Davilas discovered this location on the way to Swindler's Den.

Next time, I think Davilas will introduce himself to the Companions at Jorrvaskr.
