Slay the Spire | My Review and Should You Buy in 2024
22Slay the Spire is an incredible deck-building roguelike. It effectively defines the genre. Slay the Spire has spawned countless imitators, but still remains my favorite deckbuilder. Simple to learn, but so difficult to master, and providing hundreds of hours of replayable fun, Slay the Spire is a generational title. In this review, I will give the game a grade based on the categories of Fun, Controls, Systems and UI, Story, Visuals, Audio, and Style. I also will make a determination on if you should buy the game, based on the type of game it is, the difficulty, value, and replayability.
