Snatcher is a cyberpunk adventure game developed by Konami and released in 1988. The gameplay from this let's play is from the Sega CD version of the game which was translated into English and released in 1994. Hideo Kojima of Metal Gear fame directed this game, and you can feel his cinematic flair and love of film throughout the adventure. You play as Gillian Seed, suffering from amnesia, who belongs to a group of investigators which must track down and destroy Snatchers. Snatchers are androids which eliminate a human host and take over their place in society. It plays mostly as a visual novel with plenty of dialog and choices to make, intermixed with some puzzles and even some action shooting sequences. I did not play this game when I was young and owned a Sega CD, but I wish I had! If you like classic adventure games and don't mind a lot of story, give this one a shot!
