Finally getting that cool suit and special sniper Armazi has in the main game, only to be disappointed that the helmet's fancy features are tied to the regular gear system. If you switch to a rock or grenade, you lose the helmet's abilities. Then, the final mission.
Yes, it really does end like that. Unless I missed some odd trigger, there's no ending movie or anything. It just plops you back in the base, I guess so you can do sidequests if you saved them for the end, or attack respawning checkpoints.
