1,630Well, I've actually done it! A public Scrap Mechanic Server that EVERYONE can JOIN! This is the BIGGEST thing I've ever done!
Surely all of us would like some public servers for Scrap Mechanic. But in a world where Axolot has other priorities, I've taken it upon myself to bring servers to Scrap Mechanic before they do! It's been a wild ride to say the least!
Scrap Mechanic is a lot more fun in multiplayer, but sadly we don't have any official support for servers. Even something as simple as banning people is impossible, OR IS IT? Well, with a lot of modding things change quickly (kinda). So I basically modded all of these fancy functionalities into the game, made sure it runs 24/7, and had to deal with server hosting. Well, more like exploiting my Australian mates, but yeah;) I hope we can move things to Europe soon.
