This is some gameplay for the original Socom on the PS2. I have already uploaded footage of this game, but this is sort of by request.

For some reason, this level in particular always sticks in my head when I think of the first Socom game. When I used to play this game online at a friends house all the time, this was the level he was on for the longest time, and I think I ended up beating it for him, but it's not like he was focused much on the single player campaign.

What can I say, I think the single player modes in the Socom games are underrated. Most people used to bash the single player modes in the games, while praising the online mode alone. However, I've always really enjoyed the single player mode.

Graphically, Socom has always done the job, but has never been the prettiest game series on the PS2. Oddly enough though, it is one of the small handful of PS2 games that supported progressive scan. In fact, all the Socom games did.

Fun game, and I had tons of great times with this series online, and off.
